EOS SKADI SMART HANDLE
If you operate a Skadi Gold™, Skadi 300™, or Skadi 200™ RTK GNSS receivers from Eos Positioning Systems® you can upgrade from the standard Skadi Standard Handle™ to the advanced Skadi Smart Handle™. This innovative accessory leverages precision LiDAR and MEMS sensor technology, an integrated IMU to deliver two breakthrough capabilities: the Invisible Range Pole™ and Extensible Virtual Range Pole™.
The Invisible Range Pole™ uses advanced gimbal technology that functions like a digital plumb bob, automatically calculating ground elevations while you hold the receiver at any angle. No matter how you position the device, it maintains accurate elevation readings to the ground surface.
The Extensible Virtual Range Pole™ takes measurement capability even further by using LiDAR-based distance sensors to capture data from nearby ground assets and features in trenches or other hard-to-reach locations—all without requiring you to physically access those areas.

Introducing Skadi Tilt Compensation™—the GIS industry’s first dedicated tilt correction technology. This innovative feature empowers field teams to collect precise data without worrying about range pole alignment, as their Skadi Series™ GNSS receiver automatically corrects positioning errors caused by tilted measurements.
The technology delivers exceptional precision, adding only approximately 0.3 millimeters (0.01 inches) of measurement uncertainty per degree of tilt. This makes it ideal for survey crews who depend on range poles, need centimeter-level RTK accuracy, and want to streamline their workflow by eliminating the time-consuming process of manually leveling poles at each measurement point.
Skadi Tilt Compensation is offered as an optional enhancement for the Skadi 200™, Skadi 300™, and Skadi Gold™ receivers, allowing users to upgrade their existing systems with this advanced capability
